Dear Guests, Friends and our UNNA Family,
At UNNA Resorts, the management company of Saint Peter’s Bay and Port Ferdinand Luxury Resorts, we take the health and safety of our guests and staff very seriously. So like the rest of the world, we have been monitoring the global COVID-19 situation closely.
With news of the latest confirmed cases of COVID-19 here in Barbados, we are adhering to the latest information, protocols and tools from the world’s leading health experts and government authorities – including the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control – to maximize the effectiveness of our response, without compromising the quality of your experience when you stay with us.
We have taken precautionary measures to ensure your wellbeing, along with that of your fellow travellers and our employees. We have heightened our already stringent practices around food handling, sanitization, disinfection and cleaning, plus specific measures based on the guidance of local health authorities.
We at Port Ferdinand and Saint Peter’s Bay continue to work closely with the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc and the Ministry of Health and Wellness in tandem with following daily protocols of WHO, CDC and IATA to ensure visitors and local Barbadians coming to our resorts are safe and well.
In light of declining travel trends and heightened safety measures in Barbados, effective April 1, 2020 until May 31, 2020 we will be closing Port Ferdinand, and centralizing our hotel operations at Saint Peter’s Bay. Guests booked at Port Ferdinand will be relocated to Saint Peter’s Bay during this time.
For those guests who prefer to postpone their travels, we are offering a credit to rebook at either Port Ferdinand or Saint Peter’s Bay within a 12-month period.
Dockside at 13/59 Restaurant and Bar, and The Sandbox Tree Spa will close effective March 23, 2020 until May 31, 2020.
Additionally, we will also be rolling all promotional offers in the market into 2021. Looking positively and enthusiastically into the future, we encourage you to take advantage of savings and promotions today, for travels later in 2020 and 2021.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely, and provide updates to any changes in our operations as result. We are doing everything we can to provide a safe, seamless and ultimately enjoyable experience when you visit us. Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us at (246) 439-5540 or reservations@unnaliving.com.
We would like to thank our dedicated team for their support, cooperation and understanding in these times.
We look forward to coming out of this together.
